Data processed, purpose and legal basis for processing

Data generated by access to the site
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. These data (such as, for example, domain names, IP addresses, operating system used, type of browser device used for connection) are not accompanied by any additional personal information and are used to: i) obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site; ii) manage needs to control the way the site is used, iii) ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes. The personal data provided by the user via the form are collected and processed for the following purposes:

  • for the performance of customer relations activities
  • for administrative purposes and for the fulfilment of legal obligations such as, for example, those of an accounting or tax nature, or to comply with requests from judicial authorities;

Navigation data

Some personal data are collected implicitly through the use of Internet communication protocols during normal browsing. This category includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users to connect, the method used to submit requests to the server, and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computer system. This data is used anonymously and only for statistical purposes in relation to the use of the site.

Cookies

The Site does not use cookies to transmit information of a personal nature. The use of so-called session cookies (which are not permanently stored on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to enable the safe and efficient exploration of the site. The session cookies used in this site avoid the use of other IT techniques that could potentially prejudice the confidentiality of users’ browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personal data identifying the user.

Non-session cookies (which are therefore retained after the end of the visit) do not contain any personal information and are used in the context of what is described below under “Advertising”.

This type of advertising is based on “behavioral retargeting” and works thanks to cookies that are deposited on the navigators’ computers. These cookies monitor the pages visited in order to propose, on other sites, advertisements related to them.

The information thus collected is in no way traceable to the identity of the user and is not shared with The Site on which the ad appears.

This information is also handled by third parties solely for the purposes indicated above. Such third parties may be: Google Inc., DoubleClick Inc. who provide their advertising platforms and their network of publisher sites in order to show ads to interested users.
